Recorded with my squire telecaster and squire mini-bass through the focusrite interface and walrus slo pedal on 'dream setting. 'guitar is triple tracked and bass is single track. Edited in reaper. Wrote/recorded a guitar, simple bass, simple drums at 160-bpm. Guitar recorded direct into a scarlett 18i20 then used guitar rig 5 plugin from native instruments. Ezbass for bass. Cool and jazzy music bed loop for radio stations and podcasts. This sound was made using cubase, with some samplers of a 70's drum machine and a classical upright bass.

A fast building white noise with added filter sweep and fade-out, layered with a pulsating synthesized bass tone with a slow attack and an affected decay.

A standard techno or trance bass loop introduction. I made this with the vst instrument called minimal. I forgot where it was from, just google it if you want to know i guess.

Sampled from my roland tb-03. Created by using the randomize function and with the built-in distortion turned up. The tempo is lowered at the end.

A synthetic bass multisample. I created it using the virsyn cube additive synthesizer (vsti). I applied some eq using the sonalksis sv-517 equalizer plugin. The sound was compressed by the sonalksis sv-315 and nomad factory blue tubes cp2s compressor plugins. All great quality plugs. The sound is a nice but rather static emulation of a bass guitar. Use your sampler's velocity and pitch bending options to bring this multisample to life. All samples in a 24 bit, 44. 1 khz resolution. Loop points were added for sustained notes.

Psytrance bassline designed with serum and rendered at 24-bits resolution and 48khz sampling rate. Bpm is 137 and notes are g0. Bass uses distorsion, delay, reverb and eq.

I slowed down engine/propeller sounds taken from the lovely josemaria ( http://www. Freesound. Org/people/josemaria/sounds/131046/ ) and added more bass.

From frederick noad's book: 'idiots guide to playing the guitar. ' noad plays it so beautifully, i could never match him, but i just wanted to try it with the electric instead. Recorded with my squire tele and squire bass into the focusrite interface. The guitar went through the walrus slo pedal on 'dream' setting with editing done in reaper. (shout out to kenny gioia for the tips). Bass was run through my behringer bxl 1800 bass amp and through the interface. Both instruments were triple tracked.
