A dark/eerie alien-like atmosphere for background ambiance. This sound was created using my modular synth, more specifically the black wavetable vco from erica synth and a mutable instrument clouds.
Some sound i made on fl studio. If i remember correctly, a synth sound that got to sound a certain way, then put a lot of reverb with a heavy compresser after.
This is a recording made in the room of my apartment in the province of rieti in italy, where i am flying a flying sphere without a remote control. This recording was done with my iphone connected to the shure mv88 plus stereo microphone.
Closeup recording of the backside of a tower pc, fans and the harddrive can be heard. Neighbor is banging around, you may need to loop a smaller part. Flac file test for the first time.
H4n recording of an automated vibrating mirror surface at an art event. The vibration responds to the proximity of objects, thus the wavering in intensity. - i use this one a lot, i'd love to know what you do with it -.
A dark metallic scraping sound. A bell sound recorded on a tascam dr-05 then put through the monsterchorus vst, and heavily overlayed with vox and tremolo.
A patch around the build of a complex wave form. Creating an interesting timbre is challenging and fun. I have not tried but i think this sound will loop well!.
Captured during a windstorm. Dead blot unlocks, then the door swings open. The distant white noise of the storm drones on until the door swings back and closes loudly, then the magnetic screen clicks together.
Another "shoegazey" clip using guitar though many pedals (boss xtortion > danelectro eq > boss me-30 (no effects on, but working as a slight boost) > eh small stone > korg ax3g (on a pitch/harmonizer setting) > boss dd-20 > behringer ultra vibrato > alesis nanoverb > mixer > soundcard. ) it's kind of similar to the beginning of "souvlaki space station", but it is in no way an approximate recreation (or even the same notes, i'm sure) of it. I messed around with levels and soundcard settings and was able to get a much cleaner, less distorted recording (compared to the guitar drone sample uploaded previously. ).
This sound/drone/collage was made for the celebration of toiletrolltube (http://freesound. Org/people/toiletrolltube/). This is a special dare. Dare no 44. (https://www. Freesound. Org/forum/dare-the-community/38579/?page=1#post85734). Selected sounds. Https://www. Freesound. Org/people/toiletrolltube/sounds/177078/https://www. Freesound. Org/people/toiletrolltube/sounds/264233/https://www. Freesound. Org/people/toiletrolltube/sounds/264234/https://www. Freesound. Org/people/toiletrolltube/sounds/264235/. Used audacity to make the sound. (did it at work. . . Sorry. In my ears i have some not that good earphones. ).
Another dark ambient done with a legowelt sample, wich consist of sounds from the roland jv 2080. Also used my kurzweil sp4-8 keyboard. Hope you like it. Feel free to use it.
Sound of a backing pump or other small electric motor rattling reflected from the far wall of a factory on a canal in birmingham uk. Zoom h2 front mic windshield hand held.
This sound was made with 3 lfos, 1 vco and 1 vca. It was decided that the sound should be 30s. It took some tries for me to set the lfo that controlled the vca. The vca controls the output amplitude of the sound.
A subbass sine wave with a slow throb volume envelope and some panning action, designed to work well as a loop or a sample. Created with ableton and audacity.
I accidentally combined all the samples from this pack. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/vlad99/packs/13522/. And played them two octaves lower, the result was to my liking.
Recording of a shaker table using three contact microphones, blended in post to give a good mix of the sounds the table was making. Variations in the tone are the result of issues with the shaker table's power supply.
