This sort of kickish type sound is one of my experiments with my model d. The ones near the end sound the kickiest and there's a nice filter sweeping as it goes along. They'll probably be best shortened a bit but, hey, it's up to you. If you like, please rate. Uploaded into public domain because attribution is such a pain to manage on little sound files, so feel free to use it without having to worry about attribution.

This is one of the first sound i have recorded. It is recorded out of the window of a driving car, traffic sounds nearby. Recorded with tascam dr 40 and a windshield. A very random jazzy little piece performed rather poorly by yours truly on my accordion. Recorded using my laptop's internal microphone, which is about the furthest from professional you can possibly get. Feel free to use this in whatever project you want, though i cannot imagine why you would choose to do so.

This sound is made by my old continuity meter when the contacts are moved around. The clicking sounds similar to that of a more modern geiger counter or dosimeter. I have heard a few over the internet and some of them produce a beeping noise when the max range of radiation level is reached. Please feel free to used this sound. And remember to rate and comment. I think this sounds a bit like a jazz age theme reflecting a journey by steam ship. It was bolted together from little loopable sections (also uploaded separately here) which were all created using edirol orchestral samples and the magic of arpeggiating programs. This is a recording i made of the ambience at our local diner one man band-- it's a staple of our local culture and still maintains a, "50s diner" kind of atmosphere-- something you can feel in the air when you visit the place-- i hoped to capture that dynamic with this recording-- the sound of utah-- something lost in time and yet so progressional. The sound of a culture being brought to its adolescence.

Simple, sad chords with an ambient drum pattern accompanying. I created this with logic pro x and a basic soft synth that come with the software. The drums have some effects from fabfilter's "timeless" plugin, and also some distortion, but nothing too fancy. Device: zoom h5 (x-y stereo input)48khz 16-bit. I locked my cat outside and he's begging me to open the door. Rarely can i manage to record the sound from a cat in such strong emotion, so i rolled the recorder for 1 minute with guilt. I gave my cat a fish can afterward, so don't feel sorry when you use the sound.

A recording of me chewing the last bit of a lozenge. First an open mouthed crunch is heard, followed by another. This transitions to closed mouth chewing noises mixed with lip smacking noises. It's not rain but sounds like rain - fog and damp settling in the trees as a breeze blows. Recorded in the fields above my home in the fog and damp - so sounds amplified and 'hollow'. Recorded using a sennheiser mke300 'shotgun' mic. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. Rustling leaves can also be made out. Feel free to hash it, mash it and trash it. Use it as you wish. Breathing through a 1. 5 metre didgeridoo to obtain a dramatic sound. Pitch and re verb were used for more effect. Bit rate 288kbps. Ngwave pc software. Sennheiser shotgun microphone. The original source for stretchdrone01. Aiff. Made back in 1980 on an octave/cat synthesizer and recorded to cassette. It's from a series of work tapes that i and my friend stephen mackay made under the "band" name late capitalism. The title for this one was "a five year contract with disney".
