I used audacity with an internal mic to record this. Its good quality though. i just dialed some numbers on my house phone with the dialtone at the beginning. Its very clear there might be some background noise though.

I had originally wanted to get good, clear recordings of the tremendous numbers of warblers that are here, but a good, soaking steady light rain decided to stick around. I though, what the heck, that is a part of our natural world also, so let's get it all "on tape". . . . Hope you enjoy this. To keep as much water off of my h4n as possible, i put one of my big, furry, knitted insulated sock-cap over the recorder, that at least kept my recorder from swimming in water.

Plane- it’s difficult to get good recordings of planes taking off these days. There’s always major streets or highways close by which results in a bunch of unwanted traffic noise. It’s difficult to find a good vantage point to set up because there’s hardly any public parking with unobstructed sight lines (or in my case hearing lines) to the planes. Plus, with all the extra security measures in place these days, how suspicious would i look setting up a laptop andsome cables and some other electronic equipment in the general area of the runway?but i managed to get this recording. It’s not spectacular, but it’s ok. There’s some worker truck at the end of it which gets in the way, but doesn’t ruin it. An ominous ambient background hum that is heavy on the bass and with other layers to add subtle complexity. Loopable. Good for a dramatic scene on a space ship to add tension. Created in adobe audition.

This sound i did create with cubase daw. It's based on the sound "guitar harmonics" of cubase and i added the following effects : multi delay, chorus and phaser. It's only one track. Samplerate : 48 000 khzit's free to use. It might be a good background sound for special scenes in games, movies or videos.

Here is some more of that couple next door. This one got some good loud noises as well as some soft noises of the woman. The sex noises is from 2:30-5:54. The other unnecessary noises kept in were mainly from the couple. This is edited and shortened with audacity.

The sound is a contact mic'ed piece of pvc pipe which has a drawstring from a pair of shorts tied to it. The sound is the drawstring being plucked. It's could be good for bass lines. The sound was processed slightly in goldwave (some noise reduction/eq adjustments/fading).

An old squeaky manual water pump in my village at one of two cemetries. My gradnfather and my great-grandmother are lying here. I like this place. Its very calm and peaceful. I combine some good childhood memories with this place.

This is a cricket that was chirping outside of my apartment. There a few loud chirps at the beginning, followed by several softer chirps. I was able to get my recorder pretty close the cricket, so the sounds came out pretty good. I recorded this with a tascam dr-07 portable recorder.
