Sound of someone hitting a metal wedge by the back side of an axe. Not sure what brand the axe was, but pretty old indeed. Probably 40 years old.

Cinematic horn glisses and percussion hit.

Hitting a hard drive with a pizza cutter recorded with dr-05 96000 hz sample ratein the kitchen it was a seagate 250gb 7200 rpm 3,5 inch harddrive with sata.

Supposed to be a knife thrust and stuck into a wall, but could as well be a sword hitting a wooden table or anything else.

Hitting a wooden beam (or a log) with fingertips and releasing it by sliding fingers. Almost no wood resonance and lite reverberation.

Me hitting a metal compressed air can. It makes some nice pitch shifting reverberations when tapped. This was recorded at my desk.

Home heater vent with a fist punch to the higher, ceiling duct.

Skiing poles being hit together to create an impact with a hollow metal and plastic sound. Intended for foley of a slalom skiier amping himself up at the top of the hill.

Sword sound, can be used as a sword hit, swords, unsheathe. Also great for a sword hitting against a knight shield.

Hitting saucepans of different sizes with a wooden spoon. Raw audio, no edits. May be background noise.

Boulders and actual clay bricks dropped onto 1/4" steel plate to simulate tank hit with flying debris. Warning: very loud.

A sound i thought i could hear in my mind and i thought i might be able to find, but decided to go out and create this one. We went out and literally hit metal rulers against a metal staircase handrail, and then went into audacity and reverberated a copy underneath the sound, and tweaked it a bit to add the lasting effect.

The sound of some hollow geode halves colliding and scrapingslightly edited to reduce background noise.

A glassy, light sound, like a crystal or similarly glasslike object being struck.

Heavy rain tapping onto the skylight in the living room. Some wind can be heard from outside. Recorded using the zoom h5 four-track portable recorderedited using reaper.

A shoe is being dropped onto a wooden surface from various heights.

Knives for percussion.

A hard to describe sound that might be useful for games, in particular pinball machines and similar arcade games. This is a cc0 sound, based on (at time of download) cc0 parrot ar drone 2. 0 take off, flight and landing. This is a flac file. It is lossless like wav but compressed like ogg/mp3. Use audacity or fre:ac to convert quickly to mp3/wav/ogg.

Creative audio routing and a drum machine.

I recorded by myself in my room. I used mic rode nt2000, ludwig classic maple 5x14 snare drum, k dark thin crash 16. Enjoy :-).

I needed a sound effect of a body being thrown into a river for a play. This is a recording of me falling backwards into a pool. Splash_1 is a little louder, and there is some clipping. Splash_2 is a bit longer. Recorded using internal mics of a zoom h2n.

Me hitting some firewood with a metal fireplace poker. Recorded using a fostex fr2-le field recorder and an mxl 990 condensor microphone.

This was recorded with an h6 zoom recorder in zita park. I did this by dropping batteries on a metal covering, figured it could be used as some sort of impact sound.

Recersed snare.

Just some sample hits from my drum kit. I left them totally raw so you can add your own processing, reverbs, delays, whatever. The "just the room mic" could be especially fun to nuke, mangle and/or distort. I performed and recorded all of these samples in my studio. So slice & dice, hack & slash, scoop & loop, smash & bash. Make some noise!.
