Made some sounds for a film i worked on. Thought i should share since i use so many of the sounds from this website. =).

In this sample , i used my own taste i created another 180 bpm sound / melodieand i have put a basssline under neath it with some closed and open hats.

I have a pair of these balls and searched for them here on freesound and haven't found longer recordings, so i thought it might be a good idea to upload some recordings. I used a tascam dr-07mk2.

I recorded using a zoom h6 with an xy mic and a foam screen and a tripod. I tore up paper in front of the mic. I started tearing paper at a slow pace and then tore paper at a fast pace. Recorded for a school project for a sfx library.

This sound can be used in a anything like horror games or movies. I made this using 2 things audacity and my voice i messed around with each option and i got this cool sound in the process.

I`ve made a basic white noise using operator from ableton live 9and then i added some sidechain-compression to itthen i removed the low end so it does not interfere with other sounds in your track.

This is an alien scream effect i made by taking my scream i recorded earlier and reversing it adding a "wha wha" effect in audacity and then i copied that, placed it after the first, and reversed it again.

I had needed a count down beeper sound for my game at the beginning of the start. I could not find a good one for me. The i decided to create a one by using the garage band. And that is the result hope you find it useful.

This is from a recording session trying to create laser weapon sounds. I just used the same technique as ben burtt used in wall-e (with the slinky and the contact mic). This is unprocessed, no eqs, compression, reverb or anything was added. I used a long piece of curled up aluminum wire which i hung from a tall structure at my house and the main object i used to oscillate the wire was a drum stick. For the recording i used the blue icicle and recorded into reaper. The contact mic is my own creation from a diy i found online (roughly €5 to make). Any thursday. . . It was about 1:00 am and i got my handy recorder zoom h4n with me. Then i realized i found very few sounds here at freesound. Org of steps for videogames. . . So i decided to record some. They have "so much personality", with keys in the pockets (you can notice them on the run), a dog barking when i run, and the sound of the street at night. It may not be 100% clean (for example, wind affects a little to the beggining of the run), but i think it's enough to emulate a videogame in a short film or something. I turn around once when dog is barking, you can notice the bark panning from left to right channel.

Me squeezing a crumpled bag of doritos, recorded with an sm57 going into an m-audio mobilepre usb audio interface. I recorded this because i needed a good rubber stretching sound, but couldn't find one that looped well. When i crumpled the bag up to throw it away, i realized it kind of sounds like what i wanted, and with some eqing and clever layering i could get a sound that's pretty close to what i wanted. I've uploaded the final result under my "processed sounds" pack, but here are the raw sounds for you to use, completely unprocessed. I've left some silence/noise at the beginning/end of these so that you can easily remove the noise if you so choose.

More rain and distant thunder recorded from an open window. I recorded it with an optimus tape deck and an old microphone (the tape i recorded it on was a maxell ur), i then used audacity and the same tape deck to convert it to digital. This a simple sound i recorded from my "master lock hard case" combination lock. I used audacity for noise reduction and editing. I couldn't find a good, free combination lock sound, so i decided to make my own :).

This is a ufo sound created by a waveform generator and manipulated by an audio editor ( i believe i used audacity) to create an eerie sound of a ufo. I recorded this sound on a beach in normandy. It is a close recording of waves crashing on the sand. You can hear the different sounds produced by the water, and the ambiant atmosphere of an oceanside. After recording this sound, i improved it on audacity. I reduced the noice and the wind, then i add a fade in and fade out to make it smoother. This sound is very relaxing and satisfying.

I created this sound by editing a clip of my voice. I think it could be used as either a "powering off", or a"elevator going down" sound. This sound, like everything i upload here,is completely free for anyone to use. I hope it is useful. 🎶.

Kinda a vapor-y inspired bit of music for a project of mine. I don't know if i will use it or if you will find it useful, but i thought i might as well upload it. I have no idea what this was. I don't know if it's my voice or an external sound i didn't hear while recording. It was found randomly on my most recent recording of playing containment breach, and it was very quiet, so i increased the volume to try and figure out what it was, but it's still a mystery to me. I placed the recorder on the ledge of the doorway in my hall, this is me walking back and forth between two rooms. I have a reason for making this recording, these are the parts i would have deleted, so i cut them out and joined them together.

This is the 50 hz hum with interference from an led christmas light set that was in slow fade mode. I recorded it with a cable connected to the line in port of my pc. I was touching the other end of the audio cable with my fingers and with the other hand i was touching the lights.
