I was creating a kick drum sound using a model d synthesizer to see if i could and i realized the upper register had some very interesting percussive blips. I recorded starting with c or c# below middle c and upward for usable sounds and thought they might be interesting and useful for someone else as well. Please do what you want, slice and dice, these are original sounds by me from the model d and i give them freely for whatever use.

My drum collection is "bigger than life" ranging from the 90s till today. It´s so sick i don´t even look into it anymore - and this is the hardest kick insides this several hundred gigabytes library. Earlier, i could just make a very weak bass that doesn't sound good at all in some songs. I hope this "f" note bass was useful, or not too distorted.

Bassdrum hit with mallet, recorded 24bit stereo on a sony-pcmd50. One mic was on-axis and the other was off. The samples are in stereo only as to allow for more control in tone and editing.
