An enjoyable, reflective soundscape of kids playing and swinging and laughing in a park in a small, midwestern usa town. This was recorded at 1:30 in the afternoon on a beautiful, mild november day in 2020. Very pleasing to listen to, and probably helps to bring back memories of your own, warm childhood memories. Even though covid-19 is causing a huge problem all over the world, i find it very soothing and comforting knowing, despite the pandemic, kids are still doing what they've been doing since, well, forever, playing and laughing and having the care-free fun time of their life. Recorded with sound device mixpre-6 and audio technica at8010 omni-directional condensor microphone.

These are not squeaks of pain! no rats were harmed! if you own rats, you know that they are very greedy when it comes to food, and will actually yell at you if you try to take it. Here are my two rats, rem and ezio, eating some bread, and me chasing them around with my hand to get them to squeak. They were not happy with me. So these squeaks basically mean, "no! my food! get away!" it's kinda cute. Sorry it's horrible quality, little rat voices are very soft. The squeaks that sound like painful squeaks are rem, and the more whiny ones are ezio. It's funny how they have distinct voices just like humans. Eeeeeeeeyup. Annoyed rats.

Since i have recently found and love this site, i figure it's about time i upload something. I have been making some meditation and relaxing music and made this thing! this was made on ableton with an instrument rack. It's a basic chord progression with a drone note. Some sounds of blowing across the top of a glass bottle. Specifically a 33cl cider bottle. :-). Captured using a rode nt5 small-diaphragm condenser microphone and a zoom h5 recorder. Basic editing in ocenaudio, also applied some slight de-reverberation. I intend to record a proper version later on, including different articulations at various pitches. But that may take a while. I'm attempting to create a controllable thunderstorm for a film, and this is my first legitimate attempt. This recording consists of 4 samples of rain, and another 3 samples of rain+thunder that i recorded one afternoon. Equipment used was the inbuilt mics on a roland r-26, and a sennheiser me66 into a sound devices 702. The clips were recorded at 96khz/24-bit, and they were processed at 48khz/24-bit. For processing, i put the samples into kyma, and crossfaded for texture. The howling wind sound is an analog-style low pass filter's frequency, level, and resonance being controlled by a wacom intuos4 pen/tablet. The rain slowly swells, which was done by changing parameters of a granular reverb. The thunder was also controlled by the wacom tablet, with x, y, and z (pressure) dimensions mapped to making the thunder swell in level, density, and texture. This could have been output in surround, but i don't have that many monitors ;). This style of "rain-synthesis" can also go on indefinitely. Please let me know what you think of the quality of this track; eg, if it sounds real, if the wind sounds ridiculous, too much thunder, etc. Use this sound (wherever) if you want to, or let me know if you'd like an mp3 of this, or for it to last longer. One of my brothers came by spontaneously to say hello and he slammed the door behind him hahah. It was non-aggressive of course, the door is heavy and has to be slammed in order for it to be properly closed !. Little did my bro know that i was recording and that i managed to catch the door slam !. The house was dark, empty and quiet - he wondered wtf was going on lol. It sounds a bit distant, it's because i was in the bedroom and not in the entrance. This sound is natural too, which is perfect. A recording i made in may of 2013 as i was trying to get a good recording of the wonderful wood thrush recorded. You can still faintly hear the wood thrush in the background, but the nice surprise on this recording is the very clear, bubbling, trilling call of a proud little chipping sparrow. This recording was carefully made using my homemade parabolic reflector microphone. (*using my trusty rode ntg-2), and going into my handy zoom h4n recorder. I wanted to get as accurate a recording as possible so i bumped up the bit rate to 96 kpbs. I know it makes for a larger file, but i think it is worth it.

Your stereotypical wind chime sound effect. Used a lot for transitions into dream sequences and flashbacks in movies and films. I took a very fast recording of someone hitting some orchestral chimes, slowed it down by over 200% and added some harmonic excitement and equalization in post production. Tools used:- usb logitech microphone (no lies, seriously used this $10 mic)- fl studio 12 by image line- vitamin by waves- dynamic eq by izotop. At 0:44 you can hear the woman say "well let's make out, what do you think of this?"they were probably already started you know before it got to 2:00. Those silent parts have a bits of very soft pleasure noises that are hard to hear, but it's there. Passed 7:15 is where you can start to hear some clear sex noises of them, that's where all the good parts begin. Passed 10:00 is where the couple finishes their pleasure. This was shorten and edit with audacity.

I've benefited from freesound in the past so i wanted to give something back. I created this audio sample of the black speech of mordor (a section of the ring poem), as part of a cinematic orchestral lord of the rings piece to add flavour to it and wondered if others might find a use for it in their own projects. The sample does have added reverb but to my ears this is not excessive. The phrase is:-. Ash nazg durbatulûk,ash nazg gimbatul,ash nazg thrakatulûkagh burzum-ishi krimpatul. This translates to:-. One ring to to rule them allone ring to find themone ring to bring them alland in the darkness bind them. No attribution required but it would be nice to know if anybody uses it. ;-).
