This is a collection of samples recorded from the sing-a-ma-jigs toy line released sometime around 2010. This includes all sounds made by the three sing-a-ma-jigs shown. All samples recorded at 48k, 24bit wav files with a rode m3 microphone and motu 828 mk3 preamp. Everything leveled to -16 lufs integrated. 122 samples total.

This recording was made inside the room of my apartment in italy in the province of rieti, where i am carrying out a second flight test of my eachine e130 single-rotor radio-controlled helicopter, during the recording we also hear some small incidents. Recorded with the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone connected to my iphone 12 pro.

Tennis ball bouncing on a tennis racket: in this sound you hear a tennis ball bounce on a tennis racket. At times the racket makes a metallic sound when the ball bounces off it. Recorded using the zoomh4n and the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. I added a low shelf and and 2 bands to try and make it sound less metallic at times. The ball used is a wilson ball and a wilson tennis racket.

Recorded on 06/23/19 at 8:45 a. M. Outside nassau hall, a historic building located in syosset, ny. Sounds that can be heard include: various birds, continuous planes flying overhead, an occasional passing car, a light breeze, a horse snorting (at 9:14 and 9:17), a few distant voices, and insects. A zoom h1n and 3dio fs binaural microphone were to used to record this track.

The feeding of two hungry cats. Early sounds include tinkling of crunchy food falling into a near bowl and a more distant one, and the munching sounds of a purring cat. Then the snap of the top of the feeding container, and closure of a cabinet door. Two cats (bowmore and munro) the former near and the latter further away then transition to eating wet food. During the covid-19 lockdown, i spent some time walking where the city meets a mountain and discovered an area with loud but subtle electric infrastructure wires. These, along with cars, birds, and rustling leaves, are recorded with binaural microphones and cropped down to one minute.
