This sound is a recording of the bell of a bicing bike. It is a sound object used in the sonic ensemble soundscape. Called percussive due to its impact characteristics. It was recorded using a zoom h4 recording device at roc boronat street in front upf campus, barcelona. Recorded for the sound creation lab project. The recording was edited with a fade in and out effect.

Hitting what was either an old lantern or a bug zapper lost in some old woods in various ways (on my palm, knuckle, with a stick, etc) to make different percussion or niche snare noises.

Each accidental pattern was mined out of a much longer recording. I noticed these interesting sequences of noises while editing other samples over the years and threw them into a catch-all folder. All of these were recorded with a usb-stick mic so they have a nice lo-fi distorted quality. Try looping any of these patterns and you'll hopefully understand why i selected them.

My nightstand's lamp is an antique, it works electrically but also has a hole to use oil with it. This is the sound of me turning it off and on then unscrewing the cap on the hole. Could be used as interesting found-sound percussion, very similar to my oil drum sounds.

Sound of someone hitting a metal wedge by the back side of an axe. Not sure what brand the axe was, but pretty old indeed. Probably 40 years old.

Rings chimes passed through strega both seqeunced by 0-ctrl. Effects, haible tau phaser, erbe-verb, qmmg in "both" modus, maths envelop, triggered by 0-ctrl. Mimeophon, seqeunced karplus-strong by 0-ctrl. Panning by x-pan. Lots of audio spaghetti, but rough and al dente. Something to get your teeth into. . . Güiro sound recorded with neuman neumann tlm 103 large diaphragm microphone by janne leimola. This could be used from your drum machine or sampler. It is edited as a short sound that would work with volca beats for example.
