I recorded a bunch of grunt noises i needed for an action short i shot with a few friends. Both short and long grunts; some are more of a yell. Recorded with an audio-technica condenser mic.

Taken from the spring 2011 orange & blue game using a canon 7d internal microphone (not the greatest). Fans are screaming and you can hear the band faintly. There is also a score announcer talking.

Please rate if you like this sound :). This is my voice. I was trying to recreate a similar sound to those of the shrieking nazgul creatures in lord of the rings. They are referred to as different things but overall a creepy, evil, raspy, breathy type screeching sound. I created this with a type of practiced scream on a blue yeti usb condenser microphone. I recorded in audacity and added some reverb, fade in, and fade out. It was originally for a video game voice over audition. I also have the original with no fx if needed. My example/inspiration were the creatures in lord of the rings, fellowship of the ring. They are also called the fell riders and the black wings (when they ride the fell beasts), as well as the shadows, the servants of sauron, and the nine servants of the lord of the rings. The orcs of the tower of cirith ungol call them shriekers. I download from this site often, so i thought i would return the favor :). Feel free to contact me with any other requests!. I had so much frustrations, and decided to let it all out. I yelled in a sound booth for the fun of it and created this sfx. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

Out of a woman scream, i created this wolf's/dog's howling. I hope it is useful for you.

If your reading this you probably recoiling in pain. Sorry about that. I was trying to replicate the same pitch you hear in those horror movie screams, you know the ones. The final result was more jarring than expected.
