This is a very short excerpt of carnatic music. This sound is basically used for a demonstration of the importance of loudness and timbre in melody. A synthesized melody sound and a monotonized version of that sound will be soon linked here in the description.
3 cell quantussy patch. One cell acts as "controller cell". When the controller cell starts a new cycle a noise is heard defining the start of one cycle and at the same time the ending of the previous. Here we have three short cycle.

I made this as a near ultrasonic sms signal. Created and edited with audacity, filtered with glame bandpass filter. If you hardly cut a pure tone, you introduce a whole lot of other frequencies to the signal at the cutting point. To avoid this after the cutting you need to filter the whole thing with a bandpass filter to ensure you have as little other frequency content as possible. It will audibly soften the start and the end of the sound. That's what i did here.
I couldn't find any real and free glockenspiel sounds,so i recorded my own on my sonor g30 glockenspiel with my cell phone. . . Then i manipulated the samples with cubase. I hope you like them and do whatever you want with them!.
Sound of a calculator when turned on, very similar to casio wrist-watches' sound. Recorded and noise-filtered with my laptop's microphone and adobe audition cs6. This is just a noise taken off my home phone, it is the standard noise that plays after punching in a number. I used a direct feed for this one, although there really was not much different. This is the only sound from a direct feed that wouldn't come in so terribly soft.
