I did a ferry crossing over the little river mulde (was on a bike trip berlin-buscha ). The ferry is for pedastrians and bicycles only (some times a horse), it is without an engine, just power of muscles.
Brief sound effect of a zippo lighter being opened, struck and closed with ample time in between each action for all of them to be used separately from one another. Have fun with it!.
Recorded with a zoom h2n via it's xy configuration. Afterwards the ambient noise surrounding the cicadas was removed. A great timing, led to a wide arrangement of cicadas perfectly balanced at right and left.
Floriade in canberra 2013 - lots of people looking at flowers, taking photos talking, walking, some small rides, bands in the park, a old time pipe organ.
Duck quack sound. Sound effect made by compressing air in cheek and keep it compressed and let it out at the same time. A zoom h2n handy recorder was used to capture the sound. Created by nick d.

It's time to go on an upload spree! i've made tons of new sounds when i wasn't uploading, and i think it's about time to share some of them with you people. :) this was really easy to make. I just stood outside for a little while, recorded the outside ambience, amplified it so it's audible, eqed it, and added some reverb to give it that stereo effect. Hopefully you enjoy this and find it useful. Have a good christmas. (or hanukkah. ).
A recording outside of a store in a small city, you can hear cars passing by mostly but also people from time to time. Recorded with zoom h1n from inside my car. All my sounds are free to use for any purposes, but i would appreciate if you credited either my account here or my youtube channel. Youtube: https://www. Youtube. Charleston, sc airport. While waiting a few hours to board my flight home to chicago, i heard this security announcement a dozen times and decided to record it with my olympus ls-10.
Leaning on my computer chair that desperately needs some wd-40. This time, my mic is a bit further away, as well as an accidental thump. For reasons i cannot control, there may be noise.
Sound is an ibanez fz-7 fuzz fed back into itself into a nanoverb delay. The feedback creates a sound somewhat like a droning saxophone at times. Peak reduction done in goldwave, otherwise unprocessed.
Opening and closing an metal oven door a couple of times. Some wind audible in recording. This was an oven door in the ruins of the bakery in inneston ghost town, south australia.
I need a quick cough sound effect in the background of a video so i recorded this. I cough a couple of times on my build in computer microphone. Not the best quality but it gets the job done if it's in the background.

I was trying over and over again to open a file with my mouse but it kept on buffering! then i thought if i was going to click so many times i may as well make music with it.
We can consider this sound as constant or not constant because although a noise is heard all the time, there are moments when it becomes softer or even gets lost. Had to be triggered by someone trying to draw the curtain.
I took some matches, burned the whole package at the same time, then i moved it around the mic to get those lo-popping sound and all the hiss. I duplicated it on 4 tracks to get some stereo effect.
