My "falltuer samplepack" deals with the mysterious sounds i recorded from the door to the loft of our appartement :o. The recordings are made with a tascam dr-05 in stereo. I added a low- and hipass and some fadeouts to make the sounds more enjoyable but apart from that it's raw.

A trumpeting roar-like sound i made by dragging a heavy metal chair across a cement floor. I picture a herbivorous creature, maybe like an indricotherium, making this call, but feel free to use this sound for any creature you want! edited in audacity.

This is the sound of my roomba 671 robot vacuum cleaner, you hear him cleaning and the brushes are turning. You also hear some bumps against the wall before he enters the battery station and makes the typical sound when the roomba entered the battery station succesfully. Recorded with a tascam dr 40.

A soprano pipistrelle recorded in the vicinity of maynooth university in september 2019. Originally recorded at 192 khz, this rate has been changed to 16 khz to make the sounds audible. Insects (i think mostly crickets) make this noise. It sounds so. . . Infernal!, or futuristic (electronic for sure). This is a crow picked up by dreamtalk recorder, a brilliant app for iphone/ipad/android. It was early hours in the morning and it was outside my window. I have had to amplify the file quite a lot to make it easier to hear. I thought it sounded fed up in its tone, i've not heard one exactly like this before.

I generated this sound for a scene of a short video in which a zombie attacks my friend. It's a loud burst of roars and snarls, altered using audacity. I recorded myself doing my best zombie voice, then i lowered the pitch, boosted the bass, and added a phaser to make it more wet and added some feedback. I hope you find it useful!.

I used one of those blank plastic cds that you sometimes get when you buy cd holders. I broke it up into many pieces and dropped them multiple times adding on the ending to make it sound like the leftover pieces bounce. Sorry about the backround noises, recorded on a laptop with the fan running and a tv in the backround. Came out pretty good though. I was satisfied in the end though.

This is a first attempt to record sound underwater, i build a small hydrophone according to the instruction gave us by digifishmusic, i could probably make it better but all considered i'm pleased whit it. I cut a few short clips from some of my projects to submit to a project that i had seen on the. Microsound mailing list.
